FARM Rio

Founded in 1997 by Kátia Barros and Marcello Bastos in a Rio de Janeiro marketplace, Farm Rio quickly captured the local love for its vibrant and authentic designs. More than just a fashion brand, Farm Rio embodies a cultural movement, celebrating happiness, nature, and community through its colorful collections. Known as “The House of Prints,” Farm Rio’s designs are living stories inspired by Brazil’s nature and culture, woven into the brand’s DNA. Each piece blends art, manual techniques, and contemporary design, creating a visual identity that’s easy to wear yet impossible to forget.

Since its U.S. launch in March 2019, Farm Rio has expanded its global presence, now boasting over 95 stores and approximately 1,500 points of sale across Brazil, with 880 points of sale abroad. The brand has opened flagship stores in the U.S. located in New York, Venice, and Miami, and its European flagship store in London signifies its growing international footprint. Additionally, Farm Rio has conducted pop-ups at iconic locations such as Le Bon Marché in Paris, Liberty London, Rinascente in Milan, and Bodrum, Turkey. Partnering with retailers like Net-a-Porter, MyTheresa, Liberty, and David Jones, Farm Rio continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

Since 2012, Farm Rio’s unique prints have extended beyond the wardrobe through the Quero lifestyle line, which brings the brand’s vibrant energy to everyday essentials like sports gear, home decor, and more. Named after the Portuguese word for "longing" or "desire," Quero items blend functionality with joy, creating pieces that are not only useful but uniquely yours.

Farm Rio’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility is core to its brand identity. As a Certified B Corporation and a member of Grupo SOMA, Brazil’s largest fashion retail group, the brand champions sustainability. Farm Rio has planted over 1.5 million trees, invested in 101 social projects benefiting more than 800,000 people, and partnered with the indigenous Yawanawa community for over seven years. Its 81 social initiatives align with 12 UN Sustainable Development Goals, reinforcing Farm Rio’s dedication to creating a positive impact.

In Australia and New Zealand, Watson Agency has been appointed as Farm Rio's wholesale agent, bringing the vibrant essence of Brazilian culture to local markets for the first time.
